Discovering Holy
Spirit, Class 101
Interested in membership with Holy
Spirit?
Discovering Holy Spirit, Class
101 is on Sunday June 1st from 3-7pm. This
class is highly recommended for everyone. The class focuses on
exploring the
congregation's priorities and vision,
discovering
what we believe, sharing a simple meal,
and experiencing a small group
session.
This class is offered periodically
through-out the year. The next
class will be announced in the
worship bulletin and you can
sign up on the Attendance/Interest
form found in the worship bulletin
handout.
Discovering Spiritual Maturity, Class
201
Watch for the date to
attend the next Discovering Spiritual
Maturity, Class 201.

The focus of CLASS 201 is the four
basic habits needed to develop
spiritual maturity. This class will
equip you with the skills to begin
these habits and will explain the
tools necessary to continue these
habits. This class is held in
conjunction with CLASS 101 and
includes a meal.

The
Lutheran Course
Pastor
Paul will be teaching this course on
seven Wednesday nights from
6:45-8:15Pm beginning June 11 and
concluding July 23.
The
course is beneficial for life-long
Lutherans as well as beginning
Lutherans. Sessions include large
group presentations (featuring 15
minute video presentations by
Lutheran instructors) and small
group discussion time.
Topics
include: How to Tell the Difference
Between the Law & the Gospel, The
Anatomy of a Baptism, and How to
Read the Bible. Sign up on the

Support and Recovery Groups
Holy
Spirit Lutheran Church offers
several support and recovery groups
to meet the needs of our
congregation and community
Parenting Group
Meets at 9:30am each Sunday morning.
This is a
parenting group for parents with
kids of ALL ages.
Women's 12 Step
Study
This group meets
weekly on Sunday mornings at
11:00am.
Single Adults
This group gathers
at 7pm each Thursday evening to discuss
various topics and meets once a
month at a local restaurant.
Grief Counseling
Pastor Stan is
available on Tuesday evenings in his
office

The Book Club
Meets from 7-8:30pm
on the 4th Tuesday each month
to discuss fiction and
non-fiction Christian books
Devoted Diners
A great way to make
new friends at Holy Spirit Lutheran
Church and to keep in touch with
your "old" friends - we meet in
restaurants or homes on Friday or
Saturday nights
Scrapbook Club
Meets the 3rd
Saturday of the month from 10am to
4pm sharing a potluck lunch.
Hiking Group
Come out and enjoy
some fellowship and local terrain. A
hike is scheduled at least once a

Walk the Walk
Meets every Tuesday
and Thursday from 8 to 9 am. This
faith-centered, energizing walking
workout will leave you revitalized,
inside and out.
