Children's Ministry

Our mission is to support the faith journey of preschool children through high school students.  Using a variety of methods involving Christian education and fellowship.

Sunday School

On Sunday mornings from September (1st Sunday after Labor Day) through July at 9:30am we provide age appropriate instruction for preschool through high school students.

We begin the hour with an introductory children's worship time, focusing on the Scripture lesson for the day. This involves singing, prayer and special expression that supports the theme.

If you have children and they love music then you should check out the Music Ministry page. There are many opportunities for your children to express themselves musically.
Children's Ministry Team

This team coordinates many children's programs.  Through these programs we strive to share the love of Jesus and nurture faith in young learners.

We help with events such as Advent night, Mid-week Lenten program, Harvest Festival, Summer Sunday Sunday, and Teacher Trainings.

We are always open to new ideas and suggestions.

First Communion

We are continuing the Faith Stepping Stones ministry with instruction about Holy Communion.

Children and parents have the opportunity to learn about the benefits and joys of the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

These sessions will be held in January.  Parents and children are expected to attend together as a family.  Children in the 2nd grade on up are invited to attend.

Mission Sundays  Support Maria!!

The last Sunday of the month is Mission Sunday when we think of others versus ourselves.  We support a special person -  our adopted sister Maria who lives in a small village near Malowi, Africa.  She is 13 years old and has many sisters and brothers.

Together, with friends from Holy Spirit and World Vision International, we make sure that Maria is supported with love, good education, friendship and a healthy life.
